Special Needs Children's Teas

Hosting tea parties for special needs girls is our specialty.

We strive to create an extraordinary tea party, specific to the needs of the individual girl--and in particular for the special needs girl--in an elegant, familiar and nurturing environment with the hope of creating a cherished childhood memory.

As a teacher and human services/special needs veteran, I understand the concerns you may have. We've taken every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable tea:

• Because we bring the party and pizzazz to you, erase any concerns about transportation, unfamiliar places and excess stimulation.
• Our variations on no-zipper attire--be it dresses or tutus--accommodates most sizes. Boas and jewelry can also safely accessorize.
• Our menu can be customized to meet your child's specific dietary needs (such as gluten-free).
• All activities and crafts are designed to fit the ability level of your child. Activities can also be customized, should you have a preference for a certain book to be read or skill to be practiced. Does your little lady have a favorite book? Would she enjoy more playing pin-the-hat or a game of toss?
• To make the tea a success, parental involvement is strongly encouraged during the party and supervision by one adult is required. If your child has TSS or other support we would welcome their involvement to ensure that all tea activities conform with your child's treatment plan.

If you are a parent or caregiver to a special needs princess(es), please let us know your specific circumstances and how we can best meet your child(s) needs to provide for comfort and enjoyment. This will allow us to make any necessary modifications to the menu, crafts, activities or dress-up attire. Your assistance and cooperation is appreciated and necessary to make this SpecialTea a success for the event’s honored girl and her guests.

We'll work with you (as you will with your daughter) to create a very special custom SpecialTea. Remember that our goal is to make lasting cherished memories and nothing less. Feel free to get creative and work with us to plan the tea environment in which your daughter will flourish.
